We were born and raised on the North Shore of beautiful Long Island, New York. As the years passed and our children left the “nest” we explored many areas and fifteen years ago we happened upon the “Golden Corner” of South Carolina. We discovered Lake Keowee in all its glory and knew we had discovered a bit of paradise!
To say it was “Love at first sight” is indeed an understatement. The crystal-clear emerald water and the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains took our breath away! The utter serenity and peacefulness of Lake Keowee invited us to become one with nature and, indeed, it is truly in the Queen’s soul…all is right in our world! We instinctively knew this was to be our kingdom… A place to relocate to and to call home, a place where are children and grandchildren love to visit. The small town atmosphere, the beautiful places and friendly faces, the moderate climate, and the abundant sporting and social activities fulfilled our wish list. We followed our heart and quickly purchased a waterfront lot and within four years built our dream home. We are happy to report it was a “fun” experience. Since we have personally experienced relocating to a new area, we will guide you through the process and we look forward to making your journey to the Queen’s Kingdom a pleasant one.
